HONEY FOR TANNING
Summer is not only a time of vacation and hot sun, but also a time to take care of your skin. You are probably planning on spending a lot of time at the beach and hoping to get a spectacular bronze tan. But do not rush to buy up the entire assortment of the cosmetic store: even the most expensive products are solid chemistry, moreover, they may simply “not suit you”. It is better to use natural honey; it can be applied both before and after tanning. It’s no secret that tanning is better on prepared skin, so before going to the beach, use homemade scrubs or honey-based masks. To make the skin smooth and firm, use a honey scrub with the addition of an abrasive component (crushed grape or apricot seeds, sea salt, ground coffee); the mask or wrap works at a deep level, flushing out toxins and healing the body. Honey masks can be prepared with the addition of glycerin, olive oil, milk, herbal decoction. We put everything on the body steamed after the bath, after rinsing we use a fat cream.
UV rays are not only a source of sunburn, but also premature aging and aging of the skin. Therefore, after returning from the beach, apply honey to the whole body – it moisturizes and nourishes the skin, giving it a well-groomed look. But what if, even with good preparation, you have not managed to avoid sunburn? The same honey will help: its ability to heal even serious wounds has been known for a long time. The regenerating, analgesic and antibacterial properties of honey make it an effective aid in the fight against sunburn, you just need to apply it to the affected area every few hours. For serious burns, use a honey compress or bandage.
