Honey for children
Of all the sweets that exist today, honey is the healthiest and safest for a child. In Russia, honey was given to children from time immemorial, because this product not only has a pleasant taste, but is also a source of vitamins and minerals, providing the baby with good immunity and excellent health.
If in the Middle Ages children were given pure honey, then in Soviet times, cockerels on a stick were an incredibly popular dessert, for the manufacture of which a natural product of beekeeping was used. Modern parents can cook this delicacy on their own and pamper their baby with a sweet treat.
The recipe will require 65 grams of honey, 200 grams of sugar and 2 tablespoons of water. Syrup is cooked from these ingredients, brought to a caramel state and carefully poured into molds. If there are no molds, you can simply spread the mass in even portions on a surface previously greased with vegetable oil. Wooden toothpicks are good chopsticks. Before giving honey to children, you need to make sure that the child is not allergic to bee products. This is the only contraindication; in other cases, such a dessert can be given to a baby at any age. It will not only delight the young gourmet with its taste and appearance, but also help with colds and sore throat.
