Despite the fact that All Saints Day is not our national holiday, many families on the last day of October decorate their apartments with “horrific” paraphernalia and throw stylized dinners or small house parties. If the family has small children, it will be doubly interesting to prepare for the holiday. But you also need to think about a festive dinner: Halloween dishes should be not only themed, but also tasty and healthy. You didn’t forget to buy linden honey, did you? This treat is found in many delicious meals.

Pumpkin – one of the symbols of Halloween – not everyone likes it in its pure form, but you can make a delicious soup or a healthy dessert from it, which will be appreciated even by little gourmets. For baked pumpkin with cinnamon and honey, we need:

• several pumpkins the size of a large apple;

• natural honey;

• cinnamon;

• a mixture of nuts and dried fruits of your choice.

My pumpkins, cut off the “caps” with a sharp knife, take out the core with a spoon. We fill the pumpkins with dried fruits and nuts, sprinkle with cinnamon, fill with honey at the rate of 1 tbsp. l. for one vegetable. We spread our dessert on a baking sheet, put in an oven preheated to 180 ° C and bake for half an hour. It is not necessary to use cinnamon and dried fruits: you can take soft cream cheese, orange peel, lemon juice, but it is honey, mixing with pumpkin during baking, that creates a delicate taste that melts in your mouth.

It is not necessary to use pumpkin as an ingredient in the dish, but you should not completely ignore the main symbol of All Saints Day. You can bake honey cookies with jam in the shape of “Jack’s lantern” – a fragrant delicacy will decorate the festive table. For him we need:

• 2 eggs;

• 500 g flour;

• jam or thick jam (apricot is better, so the cookies will come out more authentic);

• salt to taste;

• 100 g soft butter

Buy honey “Berestov A.S.” it is also worth it because it makes a wonderful warming drink. On Halloween, it will also be appropriate, because on October 31, the weather may already be cold, which means that the risk of catching a cold increases. For example, hot honey lemonade, for which, in addition to 2 tbsp. l bee treats, you need 800 ml. hot water and the juice of two large lemons. The drink is prepared simply by mixing the ingredients.
