The open-air holiday season is in full swing, and everyone wants to shine with perfect skin and an even bronze tan. However, this is not a reason to buy expensive care products from store shelves. Honey and products made from it, in contrast to their synthetic counterparts, almost completely give the skin their nutrients and trace elements.

On the way to tan

Before sunbathing, you should prepare your skin for them, cleanse it of dead cells, pimples and redness. Honey peeling copes with this task perfectly. After it, the skin becomes smooth, elastic, and the tan lays down smoother and lasts longer.

Scrub with honey and strawberries

• 1 glass of strawberries

• 1 tsp. honey

• 1 tsp. olive oil

Add butter and honey to the berries crushed in mashed potatoes, mix everything until smooth, apply on face and massage with fingertips for 8-10 minutes. Then wash off with cool water.

Scrub mask with egg

• 1 tbsp. l. honey

• 1 chicken egg yolk

• 0.5 tbsp. oat flour

Add the ingredients alternately to a homogeneous mass, apply with a spatula on cleansed skin of the face and neck for 15-20 minutes, rub gently in circular movements, avoiding stretching the skin. Wash off with warm water. Soft honey oil will help protect against sunburn, give the skin comfort and retain the necessary moisture in it. To prepare it, you must thoroughly mix 1 tbsp. l. butter, 1 tbsp. l. freshly squeezed carrot juice, 0.5 tsp. honey. Apply 10-15 minutes before sun exposure.

To strengthen the effect of sunburn, as well as moisturize the skin and protect it from flaking, you can take honey after sunbathing. To do this, dissolve a couple of tablespoons of honey in slightly warm water.

If it was not possible to avoid burns, then do not forget about the antiseptic and wound-healing properties of honey.

Honey yogurt for burns

• 1 tbsp. l. honey

• 1 tbsp. l. aloe juice

• 1 tbsp. l. natural yogurt (no fillers)

Mix all the ingredients and apply to the affected skin for 20 minutes, then rinse with running water.

Evening care

Choosing cosmetics, everyone is guided by their own skin type. And here there is no one-size-fits-all pill. But there are healthy honey recipes for each type.

For dry skin, it will be useful to apply a softening mask every three days:

• 1 tsp. honey

• 3 tbsp. l. milk

• 3 tbsp. l. oat flour

• 1 tbsp. l. rast. oils

Oily skin requires daily cleansing and toning. Despite the fact that this type seems to be quite hydrated, nourishing masks are essential to maintain healthy skin.

• 1 egg white

• 1 tsp. milk

• 1 tsp. lemon juice

• 1 tsp. honey

• 2 tsp. bran

Add ingredients to whipped egg white, stir and apply on face for 20 minutes. Wash off with a soft towel dipped in chamomile broth.

Combination skin is much more common than others and requires special care. But even in this case, honey masks remain relevant.

• 1 chicken egg yolk

• 2 tsp. vegetable oil

• 0.5 tsp. apple juice

• 1 tsp. honey

Apply to face in two steps with a difference of 5-8 minutes. After 10 minutes, remove with a napkin dipped in cold lime infusion.

• 100 grams of honey

• 25 ml of vodka

• 25 ml of water

Soak after application for 15 minutes, rinse with water.
