Apples with honey are a versatile and very tasty combination that can be used to prepare a children’s afternoon snack, a delicate dessert or an appetizing addition to tea. When choosing apples for honey, it is better to play on the contrast of tastes and use sour or sweet and sour, for example, Antonovka or Simirenko.

The easiest way to make honey apples is to simply bake them in the oven or slow cooker. Wash the apple, cut off the top with a “lid”, remove the seeds and fill the middle with honey, and then place in the oven or slow cooker for 20-30 minutes. You can diversify the dish by adding other ingredients to the honey: nuts, raisins, cinnamon, banana, cottage cheese, berries. Such a delicacy will be appreciated even by desperate sweet tooths, besides, it is much more useful than store sweets.

You can make a honey-apple delicacy by cutting the fruit into thin slices and pouring bee product on top. Cooking time in this case is reduced to 10-15 minutes.
