PUMPKIN WITH HONEY
The sun pumpkin can be considered the main autumn vegetable. Pumpkin is useful for the whole body and in any form: baked, stewed, boiled, in salads … And if you combine pumpkin with natural honey, you get a cocktail of pure benefits – just for the upcoming season of cold weather.
The simplest honey pumpkin dish is salad.
Take a slice of ripe pumpkin, peel, remove the seeds, cut into small chunks and cover with liquid honey. You can diversify the salad with other ingredients: carrots, apples, sprinkle with nuts, pour with lemon juice. A healthy and very light dish that suits even the fast.
The baked pumpkin has a divine taste and aroma, and in combination with honey you get an excellent dessert.
You will need the pulp of a small pumpkin, as well as honey and water in a 4/1 combination. Peel the pumpkin, cut into small slices. Prepare warm honey water. Line a tray or baking sheet with foil, add pumpkin and top with honey dressing (you can add vegetable or olive oil). Place the dish in an oven preheated to 180 ° C and bake until the pumpkin is tender. Serve with pancakes or pancakes or as a dessert for tea. Before serving, you can sprinkle the honey pumpkin with sesame seeds or cinnamon, pine nuts, vanilla.
