HONEY FOR BREAKFAST – TASTY AND HEALTHY
Everyone has probably heard the proverb that breakfast must be eaten by oneself. And these are not just words, because the importance of breakfast is still underestimated – and this is perhaps the most important meal of the day. It should recharge the body with energy for the whole day, so the best solution is honey for breakfast! Being a natural energetic, honey improves mood, invigorates and helps to better concentrate, which means that it will be much easier for you to cope with stress.
Breakfast should be the most dense meal, and you should not be afraid of a negative impact on the figure. Skipping breakfast slows down your metabolism, and after a couple of hours you start to feel hungry, which is usually muted by a bun or candy. Moreover, the lack of calories in this case is felt all day long, prompting you to eventually gorge on the night. Lack of breakfast has more serious consequences than extra pounds. For example, the deterioration of immunity, because a person who has not received a “shock” dose of trace elements and slow carbohydrates in the morning, at least in the form of honey for breakfast, is more vulnerable to illness. In addition, breakfast helps to disperse bile stagnant in the morning, which means it prevents cholecystitis and gallstone disease in the future.
What is the best breakfast? Although this is the only meal (assuming you eat breakfast before noon), when the extra bun or brownie does not linger on the waist, it is better not to use “empty” sugars, and replace them with honey for breakfast. Best for breakfast are dairy products, wholemeal bread, muesli, eggs and other sources of natural protein, porridge (priority is given to whole grains, especially buckwheat and oatmeal). Contraindicated in case of individual intolerance to the components of the recipe
Put 100 g of butter in a saucepan, add 2 tbsp. l. honey (who likes sweeter – you can and more) and put, stirring, on a slow fire.
When the honey is melted, add half a teaspoon of baking soda and flour until the dough is elastic. Form small, walnut-sized cookies and bake for 10-15 minutes.
Boil the oatmeal (you can use cereal, but it is better to take whole grain), wait until it cools. Add a teaspoon of honey there for breakfast and mix well.
This healthy breakfast can be supplemented with nuts, berries and fruit pieces.
Cottage cheese with prunes and honey
Chop the prunes and place on a plate. Put cottage cheese on top and pour honey over it. This dish is an unusual combination of sweet and sour taste and bright color.
At the same time, it is not necessary to use fat-free cottage cheese – the best option required for proper absorption of calcium is 9%.
