LIGHT DESSERTS WITH HONEY

Summer is coming, and you want lightness and renewal – which means it’s time to say no to heavy creamy cakes and chocolate desserts. However, this is not a reason to completely abandon sweets – you can make light, but mouth-watering and tasty desserts based on healthy products, and replace sugar and butter cream with honey. This will help not only avoid excess calories, but also remove toxins from the body, and improve the functioning of all its systems.

The original honey-based mousse with avocado and pistachios is good both as a festive dessert and as a treat for every day.

To prepare it you need:

  • 150 g of unsalted pistachios;
  • 6 tbsp. l. liquid honey;
  • a pinch of coarse sea salt;
  • 3 large ripe avocados;
  • juice of 1 lime or half a lemon;
  • water.

Soak peeled and washed pistachios in cold water for several hours. Remove, dry, put in a blender, add honey and 1 tbsp. l. water. Beat until smooth, which must be refrigerated overnight. Then prepare the avocado: peel, remove the seeds, cut into small pieces. Put the pistachio mass back in the blender, add the avocado slices, lime / lemon juice and half a glass of water. Beat the mousse, transfer to molds and refrigerate for several hours. Decorate the finished dish with mint leaves, avocado slices, berries.

Can you replace candy with something useful? Of course, by preparing original honey “sweets” with almonds and dates.

For this delicacy you will need:

  • 100 g of almonds;
  • half a lemon;
  • ginger, cinnamon, olive oil – 1 tsp each;
  • 5 tbsp. l. honey;
  • coconut flakes;
  • 300 g pitted dates;
  • water;
  • salt to taste.

Place all ingredients (except the coconut flakes) in a powerful blender. Add salt to taste, water – “by eye”, about 50-70 g. Squeeze juice from lemon directly into the blender bowl. Grind the ingredients into a homogeneous mass (it should have a consistency like yeast dough), roll small balls out of it, roll in coconut or sesame seeds, spread on a cutting board, carefully cover with cellophane and place in the freezer overnight.

Also try the ready-made natural dessert – Chocolates with peanuts, almonds or pine nuts.

Adding honey will turn even the most ordinary dish into a light and tasty dessert. So, baked apples will become much tastier if you bake them in thin slices, after cutting out the core and pouring it with a mixture of natural honey and cinnamon. Apples should be kept in a preheated oven for 5-8 minutes.
