French duck with honey


· Duck carcass – 2 kg;

Apples – 200 gr;

· Honey – 50 ml;

Mustard – 15 gr;

Onions – 600 gr;

· Sauerkraut – 600 gr;

Garlic – 1 pc .;

· Meat broth – 200 ml;

Greens (thyme, rosemary, parsley);

Butter – 30 gr;

· Spices (salt, pepper, paprika);

Sugar (to taste)

· Vegetable oil.

The duck should be washed, and the already dried carcass should be stuffed with parsley, rosemary and thyme, after which the outside is rubbed with a mixture of salt and pepper. The wings and legs of the carcass must be tightly tied together, then wrapped in 10 layers of cling film. In this form, the duck should be simmered in the oven at 80 degrees for 9 hours. The process is long, but you shouldn’t waste time, it’s time to start preparing the filling! Chop the garlic and onion, and then fry with vegetable oil over low heat for 3 minutes. Put sauerkraut and broth in the same container, leaving to simmer for 15 minutes.

It’s time to prepare the apples! Cut them into wedges, and then fry in butter for 5 minutes, after adding sugar, simmer over low heat, stirring for another 5 minutes. Combine caramelized apples with lingonberries. The next step is preparing the glaze! To do this, beat honey, mustard, a little butter and salt to taste using a mixer until smooth.

Stuff the finished duck with sauerkraut and caramelized apples. Outside, the carcass is evenly processed with honey mustard glaze. Finally, bake the duck for 10 minutes in an oven preheated to 22 degrees. The dish is ready to be served!

Tangerine salad in honey-sour cream sauce


· Tangerines – 0.5 kg;

· Grapes – 200 gr;

Apples – 200 gr;

Mustard – 5 ml;

Sour cream – 100 ml;

· Honey – 10 ml;

· Juice of half a lemon;

· Sugar, salt (to taste).

The fruit should be thoroughly rinsed and then peeled. The tangerines are cut into wedges and the apples are crushed into cubes. To prepare the sauce, honey, mustard, sour cream and lemon juice must be mixed until smooth. Put grapes, tangerine slices and chopped apples in a salad bowl, pour over the sauce, mix thoroughly and add sugar and salt to taste. The treat is ready to be served!

Apples baked with honey and cinnamon


· Apples – 0.5 kg;

· Honey – 50 ml;

1 egg;

Cinnamon – 10 gr;

· Puff pastry – 100 gr;

Sugar – 50 gr.

The apples are thoroughly washed, after which the top should be carefully cut off and the core cut. The pulp is crushed and mixed with cinnamon and honey. The resulting mass should be stuffed with apples, thin strips of puff pastry are laid on top of the fruit. The dish is processed with a beaten egg, sprinkled with a mixture of sugar and cinnamon, and baked in an oven preheated to 230 degrees. Cooking time – 30 minutes.

Mulled wine “Rozhdestvensky” non-alcoholic


· Apple juice – 0.5 l;

· Honey – 50 ml;

· Grape juice – 1 l;

2 apples;

1 orange;

· Cinnamon sticks – 2 pcs.;

Cloves – 5-6 pcs.

Apples and oranges are washed and peeled and then diced. In a metal container, combine 2 types of juice, add chopped fruits to them, and then heat over low heat, without bringing to a boil, for 7 minutes. Add spices to the mulled wine to add richness to the taste, and simmer for another 5 minutes. After this time, the liquid is decanted, combined with honey and poured into glasses. Your guests will appreciate such an unusual drink!
