SOUPS WITH HONEY

Berry soup

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • Water – 2 l
  • Berries of strawberries or strawberries – of your choice) – 500 g
  • Boiled rice – 5 tbsp. spoons
  • Honey – 1 glass
  • Starch – 2 tbsp. spoons
  • Cinnamon – to taste

Cooking method:

Fill the berries with cold water, add cinnamon and cook until you get a berry broth. Before the end of cooking, pour in the starch diluted in cold water, bring to a boil again, remove from heat and cool. During the cooling process, when the soup reaches the 40 ° mark, add honey.
We lay out boiled rice on plates, fill with soup and serve.

Prune soup with honey

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 100 g of prunes
  • 60 g honey
  • 100 g walnuts
  • 50 g toast
  • 350 ml of water

Cooking method:

Remove seeds from prunes and chop finely. Mix water with honey and boil, put chopped prunes in it, cover with a lid and set in a cold place for 2 – 3 hours. The soup should be at room temperature. Before serving, put chopped toasted walnuts into the soup, serve croutons separately.

Carrot puree soup with honey

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 600 g carrots
  • 40 g ghee
  • 1 liter of water
  • vegetable bouillon cube
  • 1 stalk of leeks
  • 1/2 tsp. curry
  • 1/2 tsp. table salt with spices
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 1 tbsp. l. whole grain flour
  • 150 g sour cream

Cooking method:

Leave 1-2 carrots uncut and set aside. Peel the rest of the carrots and onions and cut them into very thin slices, simmer slightly, add the vegetable broth, bring to a boil and simmer for 5 minutes over low heat. Add flour, stirring occasionally, and bring the soup to a puree with a mixer. Season with curry, salt and honey. Then add, while stirring, sour cream and finely grated remaining carrots. Do not boil the puree soup anymore.

Apple soup with honey

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • apple (large) – 1 pc.
  • kefir – 200 ml
  • honey – 1 tbsp.
  • croutons or croutons – to taste

Cooking method:

Peel the apple, grate, pour with kefir, add honey, stir until completely dissolved, put croutons or croutons in a plate and serve.
