HEALING WITH HONEY
Treatment of wounds with honey was successfully used by the ancient Romans, which is confirmed by the works of Pliny, a Roman historian and writer, who describes the wonderful effect of honey in combination with fish oil on difficult healing affected areas.
After applying pure honey to the injured area, an hour is enough for the wound to begin to clear. Due to its bactericidal properties, the waste product of bees stops the process of microbial activity, flushing out all bacteria.
You can also use local baths of 30% bee honey, the temperature should not be more than 32-34 degrees Celsius, duration – 20-30 minutes, 1-2 baths are taken daily.
A good effect is observed if wounds, burns and cuts are treated with fresh potato juice, which has anti-inflammatory properties, mixed with honey, which significantly enhances them. To do this, rub the potatoes on a fine grater, add 1 tsp. honey to half a glass of the resulting gruel. The mixed mixture is applied to gauze and applied to the affected area.
