MASKS FOR DRY SKIN

Dry skin is caused not only by natural disposition, but also by external influences. After all, the skin of the face is the only place that remains unprotected all year round and experiences all the “charms” of winds, frost and the scorching sun. Dry skin is not only a constant discomfort and feeling of tightness, but also an accelerated aging process caused by a lack of moisture. Masks with honey for dry skin will help to correct the water balance of the skin, make it smooth and radiant.

Linden honey is ideal for a homemade mask, but you can take other varieties as well – the main thing is that it is natural. Masks should be applied to clean, steamed skin, and after rinsing, use a nourishing cream or oils (coconut, shea) to consolidate the effect.

Honey curd mask

Grind honey with fat cottage cheese 1: 1 (1 tablespoon each), apply on face, rub in with smooth movements, after 15-20 minutes, rinse with a cotton pad with warm water. This mask will soften and smooth the skin, return it smoothness and radiance. In general, dairy products in combination with honey are a real “life-giving elixir” for dry skin: instead of cottage cheese, you can take kefir, full-fat milk, cream or homemade yogurt, and add the pulp of a banana, kiwi or other sweet fruit to it. The skin will take on a well-groomed appearance, become soft and moisturized.

Glycerin mask

Glycerin is a well-known remedy for dry skin. And if you mix it with honey, the effect will double! The composition is made 1: 1 and applied for 15-20 minutes. Glycerin can be replaced with oil (olive, linseed or just a good vegetable), or you can mix honey with the yolk of 1 egg and spread the resulting “talker” on your face. The latter mask can form a “film” on the skin, so take more time to rinse.

Oatmeal mask

Oatmeal in combination with honey will “save” even very dry, irritated skin. The ingredients for this mask with honey for dry skin are mixed 2: 1 and applied to the face and neck for 10-15 minutes.

You can use just steamed oatmeal flakes, but it is better to take porridge cooked in milk.

Regular use of these masks with honey for dry skin will significantly improve its condition and appearance, and relieve discomfort. In addition, make it a habit to wash your face a couple of times a week for prevention with water or herbal decoction with the addition of linden or other honey.
