Is honey processed in stores?

Any non-comb honey offered to the consumer anywhere: in a store, in the market, at fairs, was subjected to “heat treatment”. This is done not to change its properties, but to give it fluidity, which is necessary for transferring honey from beekeeping containers (most often 40-liter milk flasks) into jars. Dissolution (this is the name of the process) occurs at temperatures up to 38 degrees Celsius, which allows you to change the aggregate state of honey, but retains all the properties of honey (enzymes, vitamins, sugar structure, etc.) in their original state.
