New Year is coming soon – time to think over a festive table! Delight your household on the main night of the year with a bright taste and spectacular design of dishes based on the most useful product – natural honey.

Tender pork in honey with apples

  • juice of half a lemon;
  • 2 large green apples (always sour!);
  • a pound of pork tenderloin;
  • 2 tbsp. l. liquid honey;
  • a couple of sprigs of rosemary;
  • greens onions, salt, pepper to taste.

Put the pork cut into thin slices in a sleeve, add rosemary, honey, lemon juice, salt and pepper. Tie the bag, shake it, and refrigerate it for a few hours. After the pork pulp has been marinated, put it in a baking sheet right in this bag and place it in an oven preheated to 200 ° C for 25-30 minutes. While the pork is baking, cut the apples into small cubes, pepper them lightly and fry with the onions until golden brown. Serve the apples with the baked pork hot.

Chicken liver salad with honey and pomegranate seeds

  • 1 tbsp. l. balsamic vinegar;
  • 400 g of chicken liver;
  • 1 tbsp. l. honey;
  • half a small pomegranate;
  • 2 tbsp. l. olive oil and pine nuts;
  • a small bunch of green salad;
  • 1 tsp brown sugar;
  • 30 ml. cognac;
  • 2 sweet and sour apples;
  • butter for frying.

Cut the liver into small slices, apples into thin slices, after removing the core. Fry apples in butter, 2-3 minutes on each side; add sugar in the process to caramelize the apples. Add the liver to the apples, pour in the cognac and simmer until tender. While the liver is roasting, make a dressing with balsamic vinegar, honey and olive oil. They need to be kneaded until smooth. Put in a bowl the pomegranate seeds, pine nuts, herbs (tear with your hands), add the liver and apples, mix everything, pour over with honey dressing and serve hot.

Honey cake “Festive”

  • 200 g of softened butter;
  • 200 g of boiled condensed milk;
  • 2 eggs;
  • 300 g flour;
  • 150 g of honey;
  • 0.5 tsp soda.

Break the eggs into a small saucepan, add honey, baking soda and 50 g of butter. Heat over low heat, stirring occasionally, until the mixture boils, but do not bring to a boil. Transfer to a deep bowl; when the mixture has cooled, add flour, mix well. Divide the dough into 3 equal parts, form each into a “ball” and refrigerate for 30 minutes. Then roll each ball out with a rolling pin, place it on baking paper and bake for several minutes at 200 ° C. While the cakes are cooling, make a cream from the remaining butter and boiled condensed milk (mix and beat with a mixer). Lay the cakes covered with cream in layers. Use a cookie cutter or knife to cut the cakes. The finished dessert can be sprinkled with powdered sugar or coconut, grease with the rest of the cream, or use confectionery decorations.
