HONEY IN CHINESE CUISINE

Combine soy sauce, whiskey or cognac, sesame oil and sugar. Marinate the ribs in the mixture for 8 hours. Preheat oven to 220 degrees. Bake the ribs without marinade for 15 minutes. Remove the meat from the oven and spread honey on both sides. Place the meat in the oven for another 10-15 minutes.

Take your time to pour out the marinade. According to this Chinese recipe, the marinade should be cooked in a saucepan until it becomes a sauce. Remove the pork from the oven and pour over the prepared sauce. The dish can be served hot or cold.

Recipe for salmon in honey sauce from China

To cook salmon in soy-honey sauce, you will need:

• Salmon – 200 grams.

• Bee honey – 1 tbsp. l.

• Soy sauce – 4 tbsp. l.

• Olive oil – 2 tbsp. l.

• Garlic – 2 cloves.

• A mixture of peppers to taste.

• Sesame seeds to taste.

Remove the seeds from the salmon. Crush the garlic in a press. Combine olive oil, soy sauce, honey, garlic and pepper. Leave the salmon to marinate for half an hour. Place fish on a baking sheet, sprinkle with sesame seeds. Bake the salmon for 15 minutes at 220-230 degrees.
