SOUFFLE WITH HONEY
Everybody loves to eat sweets from time to time. Recently, more and more housewives began to make sweets at home: after all, only in this case you can get not only delicious, but also natural, without chemicals, delicacy. One of the simplest and most delicious sweets is soufflé. It is easy and quick to prepare, it literally melts in your mouth and is suitable for any occasion: as a festive dessert, as a treat for unexpected guests, and just as a treat for evening tea. The main ingredients of any soufflé are egg whites and yolks, but sugar is usually added to make it sweet. So why not replace it with natural honey – then the soufflé will acquire an original flavor and become healthier.
Chocolate soufflé with honey
Everybody will be delighted with homemade chocolate soufflé!
For him we need:
half a bar of pure chocolate;
40 g butter;
2 tbsp. l. liquid honey.
First, let’s prepare the baking tins: grease their walls with a piece of butter and send them to the refrigerator. Put the remaining butter in one container with chocolate and honey. Now you need to melt the food until smooth: for this we use a microwave or water bath. Wait until the mixture cools down and add the yolk of 1 egg there; mix everything thoroughly. Then whisk the whites of two eggs into a fluffy foam. It will need to be poured into the chocolate-honey mixture – gradually so that the proteins do not lose their volume. It remains to pour the mass into cooled molds, put in an oven preheated to 200 ° C and oven for 8-10 minutes.
Apple souffle with honey
Delicate, airy dessert – apple soufflé – especially good in summer, in the season of fresh apples. For him you need:
4 medium apples of any kind;
10 g butter;
150 g of honey;
Cut the apples, remove the core. Place them on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes. until ready. Let cool, mash the pulp with a spoon or rub through a sieve. After pouring in honey, put on medium heat, stirring occasionally. When the mixture thickens a little, add the beaten egg whites there. After mixing well, pour the mass into molds and bake at 180-200 ° C until golden brown. Serve sprinkled with icing sugar.
Soufflé with honey and walnuts
The soufflé with walnuts and honey is very tasty. For him, take:
200 g of honey;
1 glass of milk;
150 g of walnuts;
2 tbsp. l. flour.
Separate the whites from the yolks, stir the last with honey. Lightly fry the nuts in a pan, chop in a blender. Heat the milk, but do not bring it to a boil. Mix yolks with nuts, add flour, gradually pour in milk, put the mixture on the stove and cook, stirring occasionally, until thickened. Beat the whites thoroughly into a foam and, without stopping whipping, pour in the nut mixture. Preheat the oven to 200 ° C, pour the souffle mass into greased molds, bake for 10 minutes. Sprinkle with icing sugar before serving.
