Summer recipes with honey will delight you and your loved ones, and at the same time will enrich your body with a loading dose of useful substances!

Creamy honey soup with carrots

Creamy honey soup with carrots is a light and vitamin-rich dish that is perfect for hot pores. For him we need:

a liter of pre-cooked vegetable broth;
1 kg. young carrots;
3 tbsp. l. honey;
100 ml. low-fat cream;
salt, seasonings, fresh dill if desired.

Bring broth to a boil, add carrots, cook until soft. Add seasonings, grind in a blender, pour cream and honey, mix. Serve with croutons.

Light curd with honey and berries

Despite the hot season, you don’t want to deny yourself tasty things – and fresh seasonal berries only enhance this desire. You can make a light curd with honey – for dessert and a light afternoon snack. For this summer honey dish you need:

1 tbsp. l. milk;
100 g of liquid honey;
berries (strawberries, raspberries, etc.) – 150 g + decoration;
250 g of low-fat cottage cheese.

Add honey, milk and 150 g of berries to the cottage cheese, beat everything with a blender into a delicate cream, put it in bowls, decorate with the remaining berries. Refrigerate for 1-2 hours before serving.

Chicken breast baked with honey and soy sauce

Do not forget about meat dishes – however, in summer they should also be light and healthy. And what could be healthier than protein-rich chicken breast baked with honey and soy sauce? This is a great example of a summer honey recipe that we use:

2 chicken breasts (or fillets);
1 lemon;
2 tbsp. l. natural honey and soy sauce;
garlic, spices (black pepper, ginger, thyme) – optional.

First, prepare the sauce – mix honey, juice of half a lemon, soy sauce. Grate the meat with spices, put it on a baking sheet, coat well with the sauce and put the remaining lemon on top, cut into thin slices. We bake for 35 minutes at 180 ° C. Breasts can be wrapped in foil or a roasting sleeve – then the meat will be tender and melt in the mouth.

Honey lemonade with ginger

In the heat, you constantly want to drink, and summer recipes with honey will help you quickly quench your thirst. For example, light honey lemonade with ginger. By the way, it can also be drunk hot – like a vitamin, warming drink. For him you need:

200 g of honey;
ginger root;
3 l. water;
3 large lemons or 6 limes.

We squeeze juice from lemons, set aside. Peel the ginger, grate it or finely chop it, also cut the citrus zest into strips. Put everything in a blender and grind it (you can also add a bunch of fresh mint). We put the water in a saucepan on the stove, pour the juice there, put the mixture, bring to a boil, then remove the container from the heat and when the lemonade has cooled, add honey.
