In the central part of Primorsky Territory, near the southern spurs of the Sikhote-Alin, in taiga places, where the air is filled with phytoncides, and the water really has no color or smell, is transparent and tasty, the Anuchinsky district is located. Numerous protected and simply beautiful places of the region are called a real little Switzerland. Among the attractions of the Anuchinsky region is also the Yew Grove (approved as a natural monument in 1975), the age of the trees of which reaches five hundred years. The most beautiful natural monuments are lotus lakes.
Out of almost 380 thousand hectares of Anuchin lands, more than 330 are forests. Taiga is rich in rare species of trees, medicinal herbs and shrubs. The main asset of the Anuchin taiga is ginseng.
